五年前宋南夕与隐藏身份的厉北辰相识相爱结婚，正要和厉北辰同居时被宋言暖和宋夫人设计赶出家门。宋南夕怀上孩子，厉北辰出现意外去世，宋南夕只好独自生下孩子抚养。五年后，宋南夕得知厉北辰还活着，并且另娶他人，宋南夕怒不可遏，带着两个孩子找上门……。Plebs is described as "a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting."
