The series will be coming to Netflix in 2025 and promises to delve into the reality of the International Liaison Unit, with mysteries to solve, suspense, twists and turns and the challenges and intrigue faced by this type of police operation.。工藤の長編3作目「遠いところ」は、沖縄の若年層の実態を描いた物語。沖縄の子供の困窮した状況、DV、シングルマザーの様子を追ったルポルタージュに工藤が自身の生い立ちを重ね合わせたことから企画が生まれ、独自に取材を重ね全編沖縄で撮影した。。二十三年前，遭丈夫背叛的顾芸生下了一个女儿，不得不将女儿送走，收养了一个男孩取名顾寒辰。女儿被拾荒者捡到取名周小雨。二十三年后周小雨和顾寒辰在会所意外相遇，顾寒辰对周小雨父女百般羞辱。顾芸误以为周小雨勾引自己的儿子，因此也一起羞辱周小雨父女。
