舊生何梓峯(曹佑寧飾)帶著四位大學同學來到即將要被殺校的母校德肓書院懷念一翻。該學府曾被日軍佔領為軍用實驗室，歷年也流傳著許多可怕的靈異事件。 羅校長(袁祥仁飾)和方老師(小薰飾)分別帶著他們在校內各處參觀並解述歷史。眾人來到校內博物館，看到戰時日軍資料時均感到無比興奮。他們更在舊存刊物中，看到一本舊生日記，竟記錄了過往舊生曾遇到的種種靈異事件，裡面更提到一宗學生神秘失蹤事件，究竟內裡隱藏了什麼秘密？他們會否也遇上相同的靈異事件？。本该是高中女生的「我」居然在不知不觉间来到未知之地，还转生成「蜘蛛」怪物了！？虽然我成功逃离喜欢同类相食的蜘蛛父母，却不小心闯进怪物们的巢穴。在这个毒蛙、大蛇、巨猿还有龙四处横行的可怕迷宫里，只是一只小蜘蛛的「我」有办法存活吗……真是……开玩笑也该有个限度吧！造成这种状况的元凶快给我出来──！在各方网友的热烈声援之下，蜘蛛子的生存战略正式展开！。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
