Lawye...。郭志强医生（杜德伟）在天台边缘，回想起为爱妻（陈颖研）施手术，最终都是还魂无术，还遭医务委员会停职进行内部聆讯。一下子失去爱妻、名声、诚信，志强恨不得一跳而下了结余生。突然志强发现少女关咏欣（叶佩雯）站于天台的危险边缘，志强将欣救回。并劝她珍惜生命。 后来志强因思念爱妻再起寻死之念，在便利店内买炭遇欣争夺，欣抢了炭后无意中躲到志强车上，志强发现后建议一起烧炭寻死，过程中志强幻觉见亡妻勉励，顿然醒觉打消寻死之念。事后两人情如兄妹，过程中社工阿蕙（万绮雯）渐渐受志强的真诚感染，见欣真的能变好，加上知道志强的过去，渐成知已。原来阿蕙一直被前男友家飞（曹永廉）利用其裸照要挟分手费......。
