丝绸是最早令中国闻名世界的发明。中国因丝绸而与众不同。蚕吐出的丝只有0.02毫米。今天我们认识的“细”字，古人用来形容茧丝。在他们看来，世间最细的东西，莫过于蚕吐出的丝。但智慧的中国人善于利用自然的每一份给予，哪怕是细微如此的蚕丝。我们的祖先将七八个茧缫成一根丝，用这根丝去织去绣，于是世界上有了绫罗绸缎，有了和玉食相配的锦衣。不以细而不为之，并依势而动，这是一种大智慧。本片从工艺和情感上接近着有名的、无名的以及无法谋面的丝织工匠。。Shot on the Great Barrier Reef and in the Bahamas, the main themes of "Ocean Wonderland" are the incredible diversity of the marine life on the reefs as well as the amazing beauty of the many varieties of coral thriving there。
